Vitara Brezza and Creta cream the surging wave of demand for SUVs but the big news is of the Mahindra Bolero returning to the Top 10 list after 23 months.
What scooters are to the two-wheeler segment, utility vehicles (UVs) are to the passenger vehicle (PV) segment. What’s more, their growth rates are more or less similar too: in February 2018, the UV segment sold a total of 80,254 units (+21.82%) and in April-February 2018, 830,334 units (+21.34%). It mirrors the scooter segment, which saw year-on-year growth of 23.96 percent in February and 21.18 percent for the April-February 2018 period.
