Even though passenger car sales in September were down 33% year on year, there are some cars which refuse to go down in popularity levels. And the Maruti S-Presso has just announced its arrival in the best-sellers' chart.
Even as the overall passenger vehicle segment and within that the passenger car sub-segment fell by 24% and 33% respectively in September 2019, there's no denying the fact that Maruti Suzuki India's stranglehold over the PV segment continues unhindered. And, it will be some time and more before there is a serious challenger to take it on in the Top 10 best-selling PVs or passenger cars in India.
