India’s Best-Selling 2Ws – April 2019 | Splendor goes past Activa, HF Deluxe and Pulsar shine
Beaten to the 2W crown in FY2019 by a mere 2,716 units, the Splendor opens the new fiscal by beating its arch rival Activa. Meanwhile, the Hero HF Deluxe is firing on all cylinders as is the Bajaj Pulsar.
The Hero Splendor, which was smarting from its loss by only 2,716 units to arch two-wheeler rival the Honda Activa in FY2019, has opened FY2020 by unseating the popular scooter to the No. 1 position.
What has helped Hero MotoCorp, and rivals like Bajaj Auto, is the resurgence in demand, albeit slow at that, for commuter motorcycles. The Splendor range, which is known for its frugality, scores high on the typical commuter biker's radar.
