INDIA SALES: Top 10 Two-Wheelers – April 2017
The gap between the Honda Activa and the Hero Splendor has now widened even as the growing demand for the TVS Jupiter sees the scooter outsell the Bajaj Pulsar and the CT100.
Honda’s Activa scooters continue to outsell Hero’s Splendor brand of commuter motorcycles to start off the new fiscal. Although a year ago, the Activa sales were also higher than the Splendor’s, the gap, in April 2017, has only widened. Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has reported total domestic sales of 312,632 units of Activa scooters, up 33.64 percent (April 2016: 233,935).
The Hero Splendor, on the other hand, has sold 226,681 units in April 2017, up 1.09 percent (April 2016: 224,238). The gap between the two top-selling two-wheeler brands has increased from 9,697 units to 85,951 units, ...
