The SUV sales storm in the domestic market reached a peak in July 2017 when, as a result of truly handsome GST-driven price cuts, even on popular models, customers flocked to showrooms.

Of last month’s total passenger vehicle (PV) sales of 298,997 units (+15.12% YoY), UV sales comprises 86,874 units (+35.52%) and 192,773 cars (+8.52%). In July 2017, UVs account for 29% of overall PV sales, indicative of the surging wave of demand that refuses to slow down.
