INDIA SALES: Top 10 Motorcycles in October 2016
Four models from the stable of Hero MotoCorp, three from Bajaj Auto and one each from Honda, TVS Motor and Royal Enfield comprise the top 10 best-selling motorcycles in October 2016.
Popular motorcycle models such as Hero Splendor, HF Deluxe, Glamour; Bajaj Platina; Royal Enfield Classic 350 and TVS Apache see an upswing in monthly volumes. Honda CB Shine, Hero Passion, Bajaj Pulsar and CT100 lose steam in October 2016.
Hero Splendor remains the largest selling motorcycle brand in India with sales of 254,813 units (up 7.71 percent YoY) in October 2016. The top selling model is followed by another 100cc Hero mass commuter – HF Deluxe, which recorded sales of 133,986 units last month, up 24.88 percent YoY.
