INDIA SALES ANALYSIS: APRIL 2015

The first month of the fiscal year 2015-16 has opened with good numbers for a couple of vehicle segments. The sales numbers for the passenger vehicle and medium and heavy commercial vehicle (M&HCV) sector in April 2015 augur well for the rest of the year. While passenger car sales, at 159,548 units, registered an 18.14 percent increase over sales in April 2014, sales of M&HCVs rose 24.94 percent to 19,277 units.
