CV sales on the uptick in June 2022

An increase in infrastructure, mining and e-comm have helped the sales numbers

CV sales on the uptick in June 2022

The domestic Commercial Vehicle (CV)  segment continued its uptick in June  with most of the manufacturers seeing a positive sales growth albeit on a low base effect of last year due to the second wave of Covid19.

In the case of Tata Motors, its CV segment recorded a total of 34,409 units in June 2022, a 76 percent growth over June last year when it had clocked  19,594 units.  

Girish Wagh, Executive Director, Tata Motors said the domestic sales in Q1 FY23 at 95,703 units was 121 percent  higher than Q1 FY22 (a Covid-impacted quarter) while being 13 percent  lower ...
