Lexus drives 10% growth in India as of September 2024
The 'Made in India' ES model continues to remain the top contributor for Lexus, accounting for 52% of the sales.
Lexus India has announced a 10% increase in sales for the calendar year up to September 2024, as compared same period last year. It has also reported an 8% sales growth in the second quarter as compared to the first quarter of FY 2024-25.

In line with the industry growth, the quarter also saw a surge in demand for the SUV models, with a growth of 23% for the calendar year upto September 2024 as compared to the same period last year, primarily from RX and NX models offering exceptional mobility options to the evolving aspirations and lifestyle of its guests. The Lexus LM has also received a strong market response and contributed significantly the overall growth.

Lexus India has recently announced 8-years/160,000 km vehicle warranty for all new Lexus models sold in India from June 1,2024 onwards being the first of its kind in the luxury car industry. A 5-year Roadside Assistance (RSA) was also introduced on February 1, 2024. Furthermore, to elevate the brand’s premium image, Lexus has introduced high-quality factory body coating from August ’24 onwards thereby providing premium and rich feel to Lexus vehicles thereby solidifying product acceptance in the luxury automotive market.
