TVS Motor Company today launched a new dual-tone Star City+ commuter motorcycle, hoping to draw additional buyers shopping in the festive season. The 110cc motorcycle now gets new design cues, a TVS chrome 3D label and a black grab rail.
The new TVS StaR City+ is available in three colours – Black Red, Black Blue and Red Black – and is priced at Rs.50,534 (ex-Showroom Delhi) for the dual tone variant.
Commenting on the new offering, Aniruddha Haldar, vice-president, Marketing (Commuter Motorcycles, Scooter and Corporate Brand), TVS Motor Company said, “The Star City+ has always stood for style with substance, namely power and mileage of 86kpl. Celebrating this is the new special edition dual-tone Star City+.”
The Star City+ is powered by a four-speed gearbox-equipped ‘Ecothrust’ engine which produces 8.4 PS at 7000rpm and torque of 8.7 Nm at 5000rpm. Equipped with Automatic Headlight On (AHO) and best-in-class features, the TVS Star City+ has honeycomb textured side panel grills, a stylish crown visor and trendy rearview mirrors. A premium stainless-steel muffler complements the silver shock absorbers and its sporty aluminum black grab rail. Black alloy wheels, premium 3D emblems and stylish flashy tail-lamp are other highlights.
For superior ride and handling, the motorcycle comes with telescopic front shock absorbers and five-step adjustable rear shock absorbers. High grip, button type, tubeless tyres reduce the risk of skidding by providing better road-tyre contact, says TVS.
The comprehensive digital dashboard has an analogue speedometer and an advanced digital information display. It also houses a service indicator which intimates the rider when the bike is due for service and an econometer which guides the rider to maximise fuel economy. A digital fuel gauge displays precise fuel level indication while a digital odometer conveys the exact number of kilometres covered.
