TVS launches new Jupiter Classic at Rs 85,866

TVS Motor Co has launched the new Jupiter Classic, the latest update on its flagship and best-selling scooter, in the top-of-the-line spec with disc brakes. The 2022 Jupiter Classic is priced at Rs 85,866 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Powered by the same 110cc engine, the Jupiter Classic develops maximum power of 7.5hp and 8.4 Nm of torque. Key highlights on the scooter are a black theme across its mirror highlights, fender garnish, tinted visor, and a 3D black premium logo. It also gets handlebar ends, diamond cut alloy wheels, and rich dark brown inner panels. There are also suede leatherette seats with a backrest. This variant is available in two exclusive colours – Mystic Grey and Regal Purple.

The scooter also comes with the TVS Econometer, which guides riders in both 'Eco Mode' and 'Power Mode'.

TVS is looking to make the most of the uptick in demand for scooters in the ongoing festive season. Between April-August 2022, it has sold 315,590 Jupiter scooters with the best monthly sales coming in August (70,075 units). When compared to April-August 2021’s sales of 147,405 units, Jupiter sales are up 114%, albeit a year ago the market was witnessing the challenge of Covid-induced lack of demand.
