TVS cuts iQube e-scooter price by Rs 11,250 after FAME II subsidy revision
Launched in January 2020, the iQube Electric sold 62 units in FY2020, 1,061 units in FY2021 and 307 units in April 2021.
Following the recently announced revision in subsidy under the FAME II Scheme by the government, TVS Motor Company has revised the pricing for its electric scooter, the iQube Electric.
The iQube Electric now costs Rs 11,250 less. From the earlier Rs 112,027 in New Delhi, the eco-friendly scooter now costs Rs 100,777 in the capital city. And in Bangalore, the pricing stands reduced from 121,756 to Rs 110,506.

Commenting on the revised FAME II subsidy, Sudarshan Venu, Joint MD, TVS Motor Company, said: “We welcome the government’s continued support to EVs. Sustainable mobility solutions are very important for the future and TVS is investing significantly behind this. The improved incentives for electric two wheelers will increase penetration. Such policy direction should lead to indigenous development of future technology.”
