The opening ceremony was attended by Guenter Butschek, CEO & MD, Tata Motors along with Prof. Helmut List, chairman and CEO, AVL List and Dr. Rajeev Gautam, president, Horiba India and Tata Motors senior management.
New facility will primarily focus on future development of BS VI (Phase 1 & 2), Real Driving Emissions (RDE), CAFÉ II, Hybrids, Electrification and BS VII.
Tech centre will play a key role in engineering, testing and developing cutting-edge powertrain solutions for all Tata Motors products, bringing in synergies across the passenger vehicle, commercial vehicle and electric vehicle businesses.
