Talbros Automotive bags Rs 35 crore order from Dana Spicer India
Production of a new crankshaft for four-wheelers and a stub axle for LCVs is slated to commence from Q1, FY2019.
Talbros Automotive Components' forgings division has bagged a Rs 35 crore order from Dana Spicer India for the supply of heavier components like a three-cylinder crankshaft for four- wheelers and stub axle for LCVs.
Production is stated to commence from the first quarter of the FY-2019.
Commenting on the new business, Anuj Talwar, joint managing director, Talbros Automotive Components, said: “This order is a further validation of our technical and product development expertise. This is in line with our vision to move up the value chain and supply heavier parts. Our unrelenting focus on product development, order fulfilment and strong relationships have helped us expand our order book and establish ourselves as prominent automotive components supplier. We are clearly focused on enhancing our internal efficiencies and leverage on our technological know-how to supply best in class products to our customers.”
Talbros Automotive Components, the flagship manufacturing company of the Talbros Group, together with JV alliances, has eight manufacturing facilities at Haryana, Uttarakhand, and Maharashtra along with one materials division in Gurgaon and an R&D technology centre at Faridabad.
The company has technical collaborations with Nippon Leakless Corporation – Japan and Sanwa Packaging – Japan. Its customer list includes Bajaj Auto, Tata Cummins, Volvo Eicher India, Ashok Leyland, Escorts Group, Force Motors, Hero MotoCorp, Honda, Hyundai, John Deere, Mahindra & Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, Suzuki, TAFE, Daimler India, Tata Motors, Simpsons, Carraro, Dana, Musashi, Spicer, GE and QH Tallbros besides a robust distribution network in the aftermarket.
