Svitch Energy to launch electric superbike by December 2021
The start-up says its superbike S2K has passed the prototype phase one by now. Alpha testing for the prototype has been cleared and has passed system testing, integration testing and functional tests of the bike by in house R&D team making it all set for further product designing and development.
Ahmedabad-headquartered electric vehicle start-up Svitch Energy has announced that it launch what it claims is India’s fastest electric SuperBike - S2K by the end-December. The e-superbike is said to be a fully-fledged digitised electric motorcycle.
Launched in August 2019, Svitch has positioned its unique designed electric cycles – XE, XE+ and MXE – in the premium segment. At present, it has distributors in Maharashtra, Haryana, New Delhi, and Karnataka; four exclusive Svitch Showrooms in Bangalore, Pune, Aurangabad, and Himmatnagar. The company says it has established a dealership network of 100 Plus dealers’ touchpoints including few exclusive showrooms and distributors across India and around the world. It is also heading towards launching a Kickstarter Campaign to enter international markets with Svitch electric bikes.

Svitch Team has been rigorously working for development and advancement of robust electric drive System of S2K Superbike. It is planning to develop best in class aerodynamics of the bike to enhance the speed and performance of the bike. The company has begun with the beta testing which will involve robustness, security functionality, performance and Artificial Intelligence testing. All the product designing and development is expected to get finished by the end of 2021.
