Suzuki Hayabusa and GSX-R1000R to become cheaper
With the implementation of the new government policy for CBU and CKD bikes, Suzuki has introduced revised prices for two of its models.
On account of the new policy announced by the Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC) on customs duties for completely knocked down (CKD) and completely build units (CBU) units in India, Suzuki has revealed its revised prices for Suzuki Hayabusa and GSX- R1000R.
Suzuki Hayabusa, that previously retailed at Rs 13.89 lakh will now be sold at 13.59 lakh, a price cut of Rs 30,000. Suzuki GSX-R1000R will now retail at Rs 19.8 lakh, cheaper by Rs 2 lakh. All prices are quoted as per ex-showroom, New Delhi.
Commenting on the revised prices Sajeev Rajashekharan, EVP, SMIPL said, "Suzuki Motorcycles India plans to pass on the benefits of government’s decision to reduce the customs duty on CBU and CKD units, to its customers."

Suzuki GSX-R1000R will be cheaper by more than Rs 2 lakhs
Suzuki Motorcycle India is keen on bringing its global flagship products to the country in sub-1000 big bike segment, starting with the soon to be launched GSX-S750. The GSX-S750 will be Suzuki Motorcycle India’s second ‘Made-in-India’ big bike after the Hayabusa.
