Sushma Industries displays wireless sensor communication at ATS 2014
Bangalore-based Sushma Industries, a solutions provider for torque, force and pressure-test, measurement and calibration systems, has introduced wireless sensor communication and business solutions through MIS in the ongoing Automotive Testing Expo 2014 in Chennai.
Bangalore-based Sushma Industries, a solutions provider for torque, force and pressure-test, measurement and calibration systems, has introduced wireless sensor communication and business solutions through MIS in the ongoing Automotive Testing Expo 2014 in Chennai.
With wireless communication, sensors can be connected to a computer, tablet or network and can have multiple solutions talking to multiple sources. Traditionally, these units were wire connected to sensors.
Talking to Autocar Professional, Suveer Sadanand, director and CEO, Sushma Industries, said: “Data analysis today is a huge, time-consuming process and we made this easy through our new products launches. This has been our forte for many years – we provide solutions rather than offering just products to customers”.
The company has showcased a demo of steering measurement systems. Plus a software designed for customers to obtain direct information with 120 different applications. Sushma Industries’ automotive client includes OEMs such as Maruti Suzuki India, Ashok Leyland, Tata Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, construction equipment OEs including JCB, Caterpillar, Tier 1 component suppliers and also research and educational organisations.
The company, which has a comprehensive product portfolio of over 200 products, manufactures everything from basic sensors to complete machines used for production line checking, quality or R&D testing in-house at its Bangalore plant.
