Royal Enfield partners Flipkart for online sales of its gear and apparels
Royal Enfield will sell its entire range of apparel and accessories including helmets, riding gear, saddle bags, along with lifestyle products such as shoes, T-shirts and jackets on the e-commerce website.
Royal Enfield has entered a partnership with e-commerce giant Flipkart to sell its complete range of gear and accessories online, the motorcycle manufacturer said today.
The Chennai-based manufacturer of classic motorcycles will sell its entire range of Royal Enfield branded apparel and accessories including helmets, riding gear, saddle bags, along with lifestyle products such as shoes, T-shirts and jackets on the e-commerce website.
Commenting on the alliance, Samrat Som, head– Gear Business, Royal Enfield said, “Till now our gear range was available in India in most of our dealerships, Royal Enfield’s online store and also through exclusive gear stores in New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Amritsar and Pune. The collaboration with Flipkart will allow us to make the gear range and the brand more accessible and approachable to a larger set of the audience through Flipkart’s wide customer base across the country.”

Royal Enfield accessories will be available under the Flipkart Advantage benefit, which will ensure timely and hassle free delivery for online customers, the company said.
Flipkart says that it has witnessed a growth of 200% in auto accessories category in 2016-17 so far as compared to 2015-16. Currently, the category houses more than 3.5 lakh products. As part of this launch, Flipkart will amp up an additional collection of over 70 products in the first phase followed by another 50 more auto accessories in the second phase, covering the entire Royal Enfield accessory range.
