Revolt Motors opens showroom in Bangalore, targets 64 cities by early 2022
New locations include Kolkata, Jaipur, Surat, Chandigarh, Lucknow and NCR; bookings for flagship RV400 to re-open on October 21
lectric motorcycle OEM Revolt Motors has opened its first retail store in Bangalore. The company has announced an ambitious sales network expansion programme designed to strengthen its retail presence from the existing six cities by entering 64 new cities in India by early 2022. These will include Kolkata, Jaipur, Surat, Chandigarh, Lucknow and NCR.
Revolt Motors says all the new stores will be set up by retail partners across the key cities. The new stores will not only act as sales points for the company but also enable visitors to experience the vehicle and go through the design, the charging process and how the installation of the charging points take place.
Rahul Sharma, founder, Revolt Motors said, “We are delighted to open our first retail store in Bengaluru. Revolt Motors’ ride so far has been very rewarding and we are well positioned to achieve bigger milestones in the coming years. Expanding our current sales network from 6 to 70 cities comes on the heels of the overwhelming demand from our customers ever since we started rolling out our bikes and the encouraging response from the governments at the Centre and states. Our new sales network will help us cater to this strong order bank across the country and further help us in the EV revolution.”
Revolt Motors is currently operational in Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad.
The RV400 comes with a 3KW motor, powered by a 72V, 3.24KWh Lithium-Ion battery that powers the e-bike to a top speed of 85kph. The RV400 features three riding modes – Eco, Normal and Sport – each suiting to the riding style and needs of the rider.
The MyRevolt App offers connectivity features such as bike locator/Geo fencing, customised sounds, complete bike diagnostics, battery status, historical data on rides and kilometres clocked, and also the option of locating the nearest Revolt Switch Station to swap the Revolt’s battery.
Meanwhile, the company will re-open bookings for its flagship RV400 e-motorcycle from October 21 at noon across 70 cities through the company website www.revoltmotors.com.
