Electric two-wheeler maker Revolt Motors is on an expansion spree across India. After foraying into Surat, Gujarat, last October, and inaugurating a series of showrooms in Kolkata, and Tamil Nadu last month, the company has now ventured into Uttar Pradesh.
The start-up has opened its first dealership in Lucknow, taking the total count of Revolt outlets to 20 across India. The company has plans to open 45 new stores along with its retail partners across the country in CY2022.
Customers of Revolt’s RV400 will benefit from the Uttar Pradesh state government’s EV incentives of a complete waiver of vehicle registration fees as well as road tax on electric two-wheeler purchases in the state.
The Revolt RV400 comes with a 3kW mid-drive electric motor, making the motorcycle achieve a top speed of 85kph. The bike gets a 3.24kWh li-ion battery pack. It also features three riding modes – Eco, Normal and Sport and gets USD forks upfront and a fully-adjustable mono shock setup at the rear.
Revolt’s new showrooms will not only act as sales points but also give customers an opportunity to experience the e-bike and go through the design, the charging process and how the installation of the charging points take place. Customers can also get a sense of their riding patterns after the test ride.
Revolt Motors is currently operational in Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Surat, Jaipur, Madurai, Vijaywada, Coimbatore, Kolkata, Lucknow and Hyderabad.
