Revolt Motors expands retail network to Trichy and Faridabad

Electric bikemaker sets up new showrooms in Tamil Nadu and Haryana, expands its sales network to 29 facilities.

Revolt Motors, which is implementing a speedy network expansion programme, has opened two new retail stores, one each in Trichy and Haryana. This takes its network size to 29 facilities, with plans to touch 40 soon.

The electric motorcycle OEM, which has recently expanded its presence across states like Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Kerala, is seeing strong demand in Tamil Nadu, one of the many EV-friendly states where it now has five showrooms.

Tamil Nadu’s initiatives include building charging infrastructure, 100% exemption in electricity tax for EV-related and charging infrastructure till 2025; 100% state GST refund on EVs manufactured, sold and registered for use till 2030 and benefits to EV buyers. The Revolt showroom is located at Old No.11/D, New No.63, Swaminatha Sastri Road, Thillai Nagar, Tiruchirappalli 620018.

On September 29, Revolt opened its first store in Faridabad, Haryana, which offers the EV industry and users plenty of incentives. The new showroom is located in A-6 Part A, Nehru Ground, NBR, Faridabad Haryana 122001.

The company’s flagship bike, the RV400, has a 3kW (mid-drive) motor powered by a 72V, 3.24kWh lithium-ion battery that develops a top speed of 85kph. The RV400 features three riding modes – Eco, Normal and Sport.

In the first six months of FY2023 (April-September 2022), Revolt Motors has sold a total of 10,054 electric motorcycles, with the best month being June (2,424 units).
