The Triber Easy R AMT was unveiled by Fabrice Cambolive, senior VP, Chairman of Africa-Middle-East-lndia-Pacific Region, Groupe Renault and Venkatram Mamillapalle, Country CEO and MD, Renault India Operations.
The Triber automatic is powered by the same BS VI-spec 72hp, 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine like the manual, with the only mechanical change being the use of a 5-speed AMT gearbox.
When launched in Q2 2020, the Triber AMT will be costlier than the manual versions by Rs 50,000.
