Renault-Nissan India appoints Jayakumar David as HR director
David will be based in Chennai, reporting to Sumit Sawhney, Country CEO and Managing Director Renault India Operations and Thomas Kuehl, President Nissan India Operations, with a functional reporting to Dominique Dumoulin, Alliance HR Director, AMI Region.
The Renault-Nissan Alliance has announced Jayakumar David as the new HR Director for India, He will succeed Christophe Dalby who will move to the company’s headquarter.
He will take over the additional responsibility along with his current role as VP HR RNTBCI (Renault Nissan Technology and Business Centre India) with effect from 1st November 2017. As part of his new role, he will be responsible for all the Alliance HR operations in India, ensuring optimum effectiveness, while driving efficiencies of HR delivery to strengthen the Renault-Nissan synergies in India.
Announcing the new appointment, Dominique Dumoulin, Alliance Global Director HR, Africa-Middle East-India (AMI) Region said, “We are pleased to welcome Jayakumar David in his new role and extend our full support to him in successfully executing his mandate, as we aspire to strengthen the Renault-Nissan Alliance in India. At the same time, we are grateful to Christophe Dalby who has been instrumental in implementing and developing the Alliance HR in India for the past 4 years, and will now move to the headquarters. The Renault-Nissan Alliance will continue to grow its presence in India, fostering and nurturing the best talent.”
David will be based in Chennai, reporting to Sumit Sawhney, Country CEO and Managing Director Renault India Operations and Thomas Kuehl, President Nissan India Operations, with a functional reporting to Dominique Dumoulin, Alliance HR Director, AMI Region. He will also report to Krishnan Sundararajan, Managing Director RNTBCI for specific entity related activities.
A post-graduate in Human Resources Management from Madras University, David with a experience spanning over 24 years in Human Resources. He has worked with organizations like Kennametal India., Siemens Technology and Solutions and Hindustan Coca-Cola beverages before joining RNTBCI in September 2016.
