PPAP Automotive records 86.81% PAT surge in FY2017

Noida based Tier-1 supplier, PPAP, has released its closing revenue numbers for the FY2017, reflecting a total income of Rs 366.11 crore (+14.9%).

PPAP Automotive records 86.81% PAT surge in FY2017

Noida based Tier-1 supplier, PPAP, has released its closing revenue numbers for the FY2017, reflecting a total income of Rs 366.11 crore (+14.9%).

The company, which excels in sealing systems and interior-exterior moulding parts, and having its core competence in PVC, PP, ABS and TPO processing, saw EBIDTA of Rs 68.9 crore, for the year ended March 31, 2017, with a YoY growth of 30.09 percent.

The PAT stood at Rs 26.21 core, shooting up significantly by 86.81 percent. The company has also shared independent numbers for Q4 FY2017, which show a total income of Rs 95.5 crore (+23.91%), with net profit standing at Rs 8.74 crore, a staggering 106.13 percent hike.

The company has been a long term supplier to Honda Cars India for a series of its models, supplying interior trims, like centre pillars, door linings, rear panel linings and rear parcel trays, amongst other parts.

It also recently ventured into supplying trim parts to Maruti Suzuki for the Ignis and to Toyota for the new-generation Fortuner, currently on sale in the Indian market. It also stepped foot into the two-wheeler space, by associating with Suzuki Motorcycles India in Q3 of FY2017, and would be working on injection moulded parts for the company’s future offerings in the country.
