The Magnite began life as a Datsun project, but will finally make production badged as a Nissan.
The Magnite will get four engine-and-gearbox options including a 72hp, 1.0L, 3-cyl petrol engine (with MT and AMT gearbox options) and a near-95hp,1.0L 3-cyl, turbo-petrol motor with manual and CVT options.
The Nissan Magnite will go on sale in India around January 2021.

The market performance of the Magnite will determine the global OEM’s future in India. The company hasn’t hinted at any other project, under Nissan or Datsun brand, in the pipeline for India.
