With its gently sloping A- and C-pillars, Nissan Magnite has a crossover-like stance, which will make it instantly distinguishable amongst more traditionally shaped compact SUV rivals in India.
The Magnite began life as a Datsun project, but will finally make production badged as a Nissan. C
The Magnite will get four engine-and-gearbox options including a 72hp, 1.0L, 3-cyl petrol engine (with MT and AMT gearbox options) and a near-95hp,1.0L 3-cyl, turbo-petrol motor with manual and CVT options.
The octagonal design of the grille and large L-shaped DRLs are very Datsun.
Renault-Nissan’s manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu will be the mother plant for the Magnite.
