Mahindra deploys over 450 mobile service vehicles, initiative completes a year
The company says its Service on Wheels provides attractive rates for offering routine services, basic repair, and dry wash at the customer doorstep.
Homegrown SUV major Mahindra & Mahindra has completed one year of operations of its ‘Service on Wheels’ with 450 vehicles on road, for doorstep service to its customers.
The company says its Service on Wheels provides attractive rates for offering routine services, basic repair, and dry wash at the customer doorstep. The technicians have undergone special training to efficiently carry out service jobs in limited space, special tools and equipment. The Service on Wheels fleet utilises both two-wheelers and vans.
The mobile service-ready-two-wheelers come with a carrier box on the rear seat in which all tools, parts, and lubricants required for maintenance services and minor repairs can be carried. Special tools in compact form have also been designed for operations such as oil filter removal. The two-wheelers have deep and wide service reach with bikes accessing all nooks and corners of urban and semi-urban areas, while the vans reach rural areas that are far from Mahindra authorised outlets.
Keeping in mind the current situation, all Mahindra Service on Wheels vehicles provide interior sanitisation using the fumigation technique at the customer’s location. The customers can also book themselves a service by contacting the nearest Mahindra authorised service centre or through the ‘With You Hamesha’ app that offers a completely digitised contactless service experience.
