The Mahindra Bolero utility vehicle has entered the select club of passenger vehicles which have crossed sales of a million units in India. The rugged warhorse of a vehicle was launched 18 years ago.
The Mahindra Bolero, which re-entered the Top 10 passenger vehicle list in February 2018 with sales of 8,001 units, on the back of robust 24.20 percent YoY growth (February 2017: 6,442), remains an extremely popular choice in rural India. The seemingly ageless workhorse made a comeback in the Top 10 best-selling PV list after 23 months.
Speaking on the Bolero driving past a million sales, Veejay Ram Nakra, chief of sales and marketing, automotive division, Mahindra & Mahindra said, “This is a proud moment for us as our iconic brand, Bolero crossed the one million units milestone, since launch.
