LML ropes in Saera Electric Auto as a contract manufacturer
As per the understanding, Saera’s state-of-the-art facility located at Bawal, Haryana will produce the upcoming LML electric vehicles.
LML which announced its plans to make a comeback in the Indian two-wheeler market through the electric vehicle route has announced a strategic tie-up with Saera Electric Auto, which it says is one of the largest auto two-wheeler producers formerly manufacturing for Harley Davidson.
As per the understanding, Saera’s state-of-the-art facility located at Bawal, Haryana will produce the upcoming LML electric vehicles.
LML intends to build a future-ready manufacturing facility using Saera's cutting-edge technology and processes. This is the first of many steps for LML to transition into a 100% ‘Make in India’ company by end-2025. The manufacturing plant spans 217,800 square feet has a capacity to produce 18,000 units per month.

In 1980s, the OEM had collaborated with Piaggio to sell the LML-Vespa in India.
