With an order book of over 35,000 units and to be ready for deliveries in the upcoming festive season, Kia is transporting the recently launched Sonet compact SUV to its dealers across India using the rail route.
Passenger wagons are customised to accommodate cars by removing seats and welding doors and windows. A single new modified wagon can hold up to 9 cars.
