Hyundai Motor India in tie-up with Chandigarh Polytechnic College
The course involves a specially designed curriculum and training material in the form of a car, engine, gearbox and other learning aids.
In yet another instance of the growing industry-academia connect in the country, Hyundai Motor India has inaugurated the Hyundai Professional Development Center at Chandigarh Polytechnic College, Mohali.
As a part of its corporate social responsibility, Hyundai Motor India says it has taken the initiative through tie-ups with polytechnic institutes with specially designed curriculum and training material in the form of a car, engine, gearbox and other learning aids.
This new syllabus will expose automobile trade students to modern automobile technologies, thereby increasing their opportunities of employability and career prospects. The programme will benefit polytechnics in building skillful professionals for the Indian automotive service industry.
According to Rakesh Srivastava, senior VP (Sales and Marketing), Hyundai Motor India, “We wish to contribute towards a marked increase in the availability of skilled manpower in the automobile service industry. We are committed to provide the best to students, who will eventually benefit industry and society on the whole.”
