Hero Vs Hero: Delhi High Court calls for arbitration
Delhi High Court has referred the matter for arbitration comprising a panel of three retired judges.
In the latest from the dispute between Pawan and Naveen Munjal seeking legal intervention for restricted use of the Hero brand in electric, the Delhi High Court has referred the matter for arbitration comprising a panel of three retired judges.
While the court hasn’t agreed to put any injunction, Hero Electric issued a statement that, “Given the reference of all disputes between the parties, we will be making a prayer for interim injunction against Hero MotoCorp before the duly constituted tribunal. Needless to add that we will also take all possible steps to thwart any challenge to the order of reference of the disputes to arbitration.”
Hero Electric had moved the Delhi High Court last October against Pawan Munjal, chairman of Hero MotoCorp, seeking an injunction on Hero MotoCorp using the brand name for its electric offerings.
