Hero Electric looks to assuage customer concerns
Hero Electric initiative for consumers covers 750+ dealerships to have their scooters serviced and checked at no cost.
With reference to recent battery fires in electric scooters, Hero Electric announced April as Battery Care month to assuage customer concerns related to the EV safety.
According to the company's statement about 450,000 consumers will be able to interact with the manufacturer through its 750+ dealerships in order to reinforce key aspects on battery care and safety, and will be able to get their electric two-wheelers checked free of cost.
Sohinder Gill, CEO, Hero Electric said “There is an urgent need to take concrete actions to assuage any concerns related to the EV safety. Any corrective actions for the EVs already on the road should the first priority. Customer education and awareness about upkeep of the battery and the charging system is a crucial link in this. In the April Battery Care month, Service technicians would also demonstrate how to lookout for any tell-tale signs in a battery that in a rare event may malfunction in future.”
Gill added that the Battery Care month will be observed at their dealerships in over 500 cities across the country.
