Harley-Davidson India bags IACC trade excellence award

Harley-Davidson India has received the ‘Trade Excellence’ award for operational excellence in manufacturing, by the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC).

Harley-Davidson India bags IACC trade excellence award

Harley-Davidson India has received the ‘Trade Excellence’ award for operational excellence in manufacturing, by the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC).

Commenting on the award, Baljeet Mokha, director  (plant operations), Harley-Davidson India, said, “We are honoured to be recognised by IACC for Harley-Davidson India’s operational excellence in manufacturing. The ability to build and deliver exceptional products is possible only through input from our customers and the efforts and dedication of our employees and partners. We are proud of all that has been accomplished over the last five years in India and the award stands as testimony to our continued commitment to the market.”

This is the 10th year of the awards from IACC, which facilitates trade and business relations between India and USA.

Harley-Davidson India commenced operations in August 2009 and appointed its first dealership in July 2010. The company has 12 models in its line-up in India, in addition to a full range of genuine parts, accessories, and general merchandise, available through its authorized dealerships. Headquartered at Gurgaon, Haryana, it has an assembly unit at Bawal, Haryana. The company has 13 dealerships across India: New Delhi, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Kochi, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Indore, Pune, Goa and Jaipur.
