Hardeep Singh Brar to join Nissan India as director (Strategy)
With over two decades of sales experience in the Indian automobile market, it is likely that Brar could, over a period of time, play a stronger role at Nissan Motor India.
Hardeep Singh Brar, vice-president (Sales), General Motors India, is to join Nissan Motor India as Director (Strategy). It is likely that Brar, who has over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing in the Indian automobile industry, will over a period of time play a stronger role at the Japanese carmaker.
Brar, who joined GM India on July 1, 2015, had earlier been with Volkswagen Group Sales India since 2012 as the head of network and dealer development. Before that, he had a long stint at Maruti Suzuki India since 1995, where he held the posts of general manager of institutional and rural sales; head of DGM – dealer development; regional manager, North; deputy manager of marketing; and territory sales manager. Brar began his professional career at Pertech Computers in 1994.
