GoZero bets on micro-mobility to drive electric bike sales in India

Kolkata-based electric bike maker GoZero Mobility recently launched its new logo — Make.Fit at the celebration event organised by the British Deputy High Commission, Kolkata to mark the birthday of Queen Elizabeth II.
The company had announced its entry in the country early last year. The e-bike maker claims it has a global supply chain of vendors from the UK, India, Spain, China and Taiwan, and has tied up with Kirti Solar (KSL) in India for manufacturing activities.
One of the key themes at the event was 'Green is Great', where companies displayed their products and GoZero Mobility showcased its high performance, new generation e-bikes. At present, the company has a manufacturing capacity of 20,000 units per annum and retails two products in the country — One at Rs 30,999 and Mile at Rs 27,999. The GoZero One is powered by a 400Wh lithium-ion battery that provides 60km range on a single charge, while a 300Wh lithium-ion provides a range of 45km for the GoZero Mile.

At GoZero, we are determined to make products that help consumers achieve healthy& greener living. Our new logo represents our vision of promoting green mobility and healthy lifestyle in true sense.”
The company has sold around 825 units till now through its 15 dealerships, which it plans to scale up going ahead. GoZero Mobility says it has invested around $250,000 (Rs 1.78 crore) till now, and its revenue was $360,000 (Rs 2.57 crore).
