EVamp Tech sets up fast charging station at Kevadia, targets 100 in Gujarat by 2023
Green energy firm sets up 60 kw EV charging point at Tencity-1, Kevadia, Statue of Unity.
Ahmedabad-headquartered EVamp Technologies has installed and inaugurated a fast-charging EV station at Kevadia, Gujarat. Kevadia is home to the world’s tallest statue – the Statue of Unity – of India’s first deputy prime minister and home minister Bharat Ratna Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
It may be recollected that in July 2021, Tata Power installed the first-ever fast DC EV charger – its EZ Charge facility – at Kevadia.
EVamp Technologies, a green energy company with diversified interests in mobility, power and charging technology, plans to install 100 fast charging stations across Gujarat by 2023. The company says it has a range of sustainable solutions to lay the foundation for a robust charging ecosystem. Called ‘MobiLane Network’, it will also cater to EV charging, battery swapping and hydrogen fuel cells technology too.
According to Devansh Shah, founder of EVamp Tech: “This Hyper TurboCharger is capable of charging all kinds of EVs that travel by this route towards the neighbouring cities and states.”
Co-founde Gunjan Mehta added: “Our first and foremost mission is to install 100 fast charging stations across the whole of Gujarat by 2023, after which our teams will expand their footprints across other states of India.”
