Manufacturing capacity grows to 4,000 units a month, plans to launch two new e-scooters by November-December.
BattRE Electric Mobility, the Jaipur-based electric vehicle start-up, has moved to a bigger factory to meet what it say is growing demand for its e-scooters. With this, BattRE has raised its manufacturing capacity to 4,000 units per month.
According to company founder Nishchal Chaudhary, “This factory expansion will cater to the growing demand of e-scooters which we forecast to increase multi-fold in the next couple of quarters. Moreover, with an ARR of Rs 120 crore, we plan to invest more in our production and R&D capabilities, add world-class products, strengthen our retail and partner network, and work further to build an EV ecosystem in India.”
BattRE Electric Mobility plans to add two new products to its portfolio over the next 3-4 months. The start-up is also working towards building the EV ecosystem in India, with more than 500 recharge stations already installed. Additionally, it has undertaken training personnel at two-wheeler repair shops to service EVs.
The start-up currently has a retail network of 250 dealers in 17 states and 180 cities across India.
Rajasthan’s EV Policy
BattRE aims to make the most of new business opportunities that stem from Rajasthan’s recently announced EV Policy which offers e-two-wheeler buyers incentives up to Rs 10,000.
