Citroen begins deliveries of C5 Aircross SUV in India
With over 1,000 pre-bookings in hand, French carmaker sees growing demand for its first product in India.
Sixteen days after it launched its first product for India – the C5 Aircross SUV – Citroen India has commenced deliveries. Priced from Rs 29.90 lakh through to Rs 31.90 lakh, the three-variant flagship SUV has 1,000 bookings till now.
The SUV, which is powered by a 2-litre diesel engine, is assembled at the company’s plant in Thiruvallur, near Chennai. The C5 Aircross SUV is available in four colours – Pearl White, Tijuca Blue, Cumulus Grey & Perla Nera Black – in both full body colour and bi-tone options with a wide range of accessories on offer. Deliveries have begun at all 10 La Maison Citroen phygital showrooms across the country in New Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kochi and Chennai.
The flagship SUV from Citroën is assembled in India at the company’s plant in Thiruvallur, near Chennai. This ‘Comfort Class SUV’ has a distinguished dynamic design and is available in four body colours and an optional black roof, for a personalised look.
