India Kawasaki Motors today launched the MY2021 version of its middleweight capacity cruiser motorcycle, the Kawasaki Vulcan S. The company has launched the updated Vulcan S at a price tag of Rs 579,000, ex-showroom India.

At this price, the Vulcan S has become dearer by Rs 30,000. The 2019 version was also available in a Black/Orange colour scheme, which cost Rs 5.59 lakh. For 2020, the Vulcan S gets a new colour scheme called Metallic Flat Raw Graystone – this will be the only option for now.

While it is a cruiser, the Vulcan boasts a very unconventional design courtesy its unique suspension and frame layout. The motorcycle offers adjustable riding positions by allowing the rider to adjust between different settings of the handlebar, seat and footpegs.

The motorcycle also gets features such as LED headlights, part-analogue, part-digital LED instrument cluster and an underbody muffler.

It also comes with a linkage-equipped offset laydown single shock for superior ride comfort. The BS VI-compliant Kawasaki Vulcan S is powered by a 650cc parallel twin, fuel-injected engine that develops 59bhp of power and 63Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox.

The Vulcan S, which gets large-diameter disc brakes along with dual-channel ABS and 18/17-inch radials tyres for safety, will be available only in a single metallic flat raw graystone colour option.
