British High Commissioner visits JCB India factory in Delhi
The British High Commissioner to India, Sir Dominic Asquith KCMG, visited JCB India headquarters today.
The British High Commissioner to India, Sir Dominic Asquith KCMG, visited JCB India headquarters in Delhi today. The High Commissioner was on an official visit to JCB India, the leading manufacturer of earthmoving and construction products.
Visiting the JCB headquarters, he said, “JCB has had a remarkable story of manufacturing in India through its journey spanning over three decades. These yellow diggers are contributing immensely to India’s infrastructure and I am delighted to be here at JCB’s state-of-the-art facility at Delhi.”
Speaking on the occasion, JCB India MD and CEO, Vipin Sondhi said, “It is a great privilege for JCB to have Sir Dominic Asquith with us at the world’s largest backhoe loader manufacturing plant. During this visit, JCB was able to showcase its commitment to the Make in India program through investments in manufacturing, technology and skills”.
With five manufacturing facilities in Delhi NCR, Pune and Jaipur, JCB India manufactures 48 products in 8 product lines. These products are sold in the Indian market, through a network of 63 dealers and 650 outlets, and also exported to over 65 countries today.
