Bridgestone India launches new tyres for high load tippers
Bridgestone claims that the new tyre offers better durability and wear life for high load vehicles in sync with the new Axle load Norms.
Bridgestone India launched new L370HL tyre for Construction vehicles segment, specifically for Tipper/Dumpers that operate in high load segment. These are in sync with the new axle load norms, the construction and mining sectors needed tyres that could cope with the permissible increased load factors.
The L370HL addresses the requirements of the axle load norm. Designed using proprietary software to optimise the tyre design, the company claims that this tyre is made of special tread compound for excellent cut-chip resistance on off road.
L370HL Tyre is suitable for heavy load segment and will be available in the size 295/90R20. The tyre is in block and shoulder lug design for heat radiation and block tear resistance. The enforced bead structure improved the bead durability on the off road and boost longevity.
Dual Nylon Chafer is another special feature that will protect the highly stressed body ply turn up and spread the stresses over a larger area to reduce cracking. Parag Satpute, Managing Director, Bridgestone India added that, “Cost efficient logistics are key to the economics of the construction and mining sector. Our L370HL is designed to weather the roughs of these sectors giving operators smooth logistics and thereby increasing productivity and efficiencies of these core sectors.”
