Outlining its plans, Motofumi Shitara, Chairman, Yamaha Motor India Group says some of the biggest challenges to EVs include “acceptance of customers at large” and creating adequate ecosystem is crucial for it.

-Meanwhile the German Tier I major ZF intends to implement a multi-pronged strategy in its new plans for India. About 200 million euro investment and more traction from Wabco acquisition are all on the anvil.
ZF is also betting on electric motors for two-wheelers in India and could be exploring some opportunities in that space.
