Auto Expo 2014: Mahindra Two Wheelers unveils 300cc Mojo, Centuro with disc brake
Mahindra Two Wheelers today unveiled the Mojo motorcycle which is powered by a 300c liquid-cooled engine.
Mahindra Two Wheelers today unveiled the Mojo motorcycle which is powered by a 300c liquid-cooled engine. The bike, which is believed to be in the final stages of validation, will be launched later this year.
The company says the Mojo has been worked on at all levels from design, styling, engine, performance, ergonomics and technology. This involved consumer feedback, a detailed development process with engineering and technology partners across the globe, including experts from the Mahindra Group’s Mahindra Racing team.
The company also revealed the new Centuro disc brake version (Centuro O1-D) powered by Mahindra’s indigenously developed intelligent 8.5bhp MCi-5 (micro chip ignited-5 curve) engine which has an ARAI-certified mileage of 85.4kpl.
Speaking at the event, Anoop Mathur, president – Two Wheeler Sector and member of the Group Executive Board, Mahindra & Mahindra, said, “We are very pleased to unveil the stunning new Mojo which I am sure will have bikers across the country excited. The Mojo is the result of strong technological capabilities we have built at our R&D center, our network of global partnerships and the expertise of our successful Mahindra Racing team. We are also pleased to unveil the new Centuro with disc brakes which takes an advanced, feature rich motorcycle to a new level of performance and safety.”
