Twenty-one-year-old Arjun Maini has finalised his agreement to sign for Finnish management firm e-Ace International.

The J.K.Racing-backed youngster from Bangalore, who earlier this year confirmed his intention to compete in the 2019 edition of the 24 Hours of LeMans, will now be supported by the fast growing Finnish firm which has a global presence and a proven track record of helping drivers achieve their ultimate professional objectives in motorsports.

Founded by physio and driver manager, Tomas Siltanen and ex-Formula One driver and two-time LeMans winner JJ Lehto in the year 2012, the company has gone onto to sign several talents who ply their trade in various categories of motorsport ranging from karting to the FIA World Rally Cross Championship.

Arjun, who will become the company's first Asian recruit was delighted with his decision, said, "The guys at e-Ace International come with a wealth of experience. They pitched a few very interesting ideas to us and we were sold on their long-term vision for my career, my ultimate goal is still to race in Formula One someday and I'm looking forward to working with e-Ace International to help me get there."

Firm founder Tomas Siltanen added, "We are extremely happy to sign Arjun to our management and coaching program. We have been following him for a couple of years now and are convinced that he has a great potential to be the next big Indian name in the world of motorsport. Now we will do lots of work and put in our best efforts to build his career and support his goals; we also want people to understand how valuable he is for the future of motorsport in India. We believe that with our experience and his talent we can reach the goals and he will become a professional driver."

The decision will now allow Arjun to focus solely on his on-track performance as he looks to build on his promising pace from the first round of European LeMans Championship when the series resumes at Monza in a fortnight's time.
