New wireless solution for monitoring lubricants in a vehicle
WLubeMon is the latest wireless system that monitors the amount of the lubricant in the vehicle.
A new monitoring system called the ‘WLubeMon’ monitors that the right amount of lubricant is fed at the right time to the bearing without using any cable transmission.
The previous version called ‘LubeMon’, which is still available, comes with cable transmission. Its disadvantage has been the high cost of cable installation as well as the risk of cable damages. To counter this pitfall, Assalub AB has launched the wireless version of the same, christened as WLubeMon.

Pictorial Description of WLubeMon
The system works completely independently and is capable to monitor all types of grease lubrication systems including manual lubrication. The WLubeMon comprises of a precision grease meter that measures the amount of lubricant fed into the lubrication point. The meter communicates on a regular basis wirelessly with a Control unit. The system provides alarm both for too high and too low volume and also provides statistics and log functions. The Control unit can monitor up till 20 individual meters and has normally a carriage of 75 meters. The battery lasts at least 15 years.
