PSA purchase of Opel and Vauxhall completed

The French firm has confirmed its purchase of Opel and Vauxhall from General Motors; it will announce a performance plan in 100 days

The PSA Group, which makes Citroen, DS and Peugeot cars, has completed its purchase of the Vauxhall/Opel brands for €2.2bn (Rs 16,817 crore). 

The move, which was first announced in March, makes PSA the second largest manufacturer in Europe after Volkswagen with a 17 percent market share.
