Nissan reveals teaser image of all-new NV300 van

Nissan is to expand its Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) range in Europe with the introduction of an all-new model. The NV300 is a new mid-sized van that will sit between the NV200 and NV400 as successor to the popular Primastar.

The all-new NV300 will go on sale later this year and will strengthen Nissan’s position as an LCV manufacturer with one of the widest ranges in Europe.

The NV300 uses Nissan’s new global naming policy for its LCVs. Standing for Nissan Van, the NV badge will be used on all purpose-built vans. In future, all Nissan trucks will be badged NT.

Philippe Guérin-Boutaud, corporate vice-president, Nissan LCV, said: “The new NV300 will be an important contributor to deliver Nissan’s ambitious plans to grow its LCV business in Europe”.

Nissan has one of the most comprehensive European presences of any overseas manufacturer, employing more than 17,600 staff across locally-based design, R&D, manufacturing, logistics and sales and marketing operations. In 2015, Nissan plants in the UK, Spain and Russia produced more than 675,000 vehicles including crossovers, small cars, SUVs, commercial vehicles and electric vehicles. Nissan currently has a strong line-up of 23 diverse models in Europe under the Nissan and Datsun brands.
