Honda Vietnam rolls out its 20 millionth motorcycle

During the 20 years of business, Honda Vietnam says it has strengthened its production facilities and motorcycle business activities through the operation of three motorcycle factories, a parts centre, and various workshops.

Honda Vietnam rolls out its 20 millionth motorcycle

Honda Vietnam Co recently celebrated the rollout of its 20-millionth unit of cumulative motorcycle production at a ceremony held at its factory in Ha Nam Province.

An ‘Air Blade’ that rolled off the assembly line represented Honda Vietnam’s 20 millionth motorcycle produced.

Honda Vietnam commenced operations in 1996 and produced the first motorcycle in December 1997. During the 20 years of business, Honda Vietnam says it has strengthened its production facilities and motorcycle business activities through the operation of three motorcycle factories, a parts centre, and various workshops.

Honda Vietnam celebrated the production of its five-millionth motorcycle in July 2008, the 10-millionth in September 2011, and the 15-millionth in March 2014. The company managed to produce an additional five million units within two-and-a-half years to reach the total of 20 million motorcycles produced.

December 1997: Production commences

July 2008: 5 million units

September 2011: 10 million units

March 2014: 15 million units

September 2016: 20 million units
