Honda makes top management change for Asia & Oceania region

While Masayuki Igarashi appointed chief officer for Regional Operations (Asia & Oceania) at Honda Motor Co and president and CEO of Asian Honda Motor Co, current head Shinji Aoyama is now managing officer and vice-chief officer for Regional Operations (North America) at Honda Motor Co.

Honda makes top management change for Asia & Oceania region

Asian Honda Motor Co, Honda’s Asia & Oceania regional headquarters, has announced a change in its top management, which will be effective on April 1, 2018.

Masayuki Igarashi will assume the position of chief officer for Regional Operations (Asia & Oceania) at Honda Motor Co and president and CEO of Asian Honda Motor Co. He remains an operating officer of Honda Motor Co, a position he has held since 2017. 

Igarashi is currently executive vice-president of Honda North America, and executive vice-president of American Honda Motor Inc, the subsidiary responsible for sales and distribution of Honda’s products in North America.

Shinji Aoyama, the current Operating Officer and Chief Officer for Regional Operations (Asia & Oceania) at Honda Motor Co and president and CEO of Asian Honda Motor Co, has been appointed managing officer and vice-chief officer for Regional Operations (North America) at Honda Motor Co. His new assignments for North America Region are senior executive vice-president and chief operating officer of Honda North America Inc, and senior executive vice-president and chief operating officer of American Honda Co. Inc.
